Technology Logic

Two-layer blackout risk reduction.

Hijoyโ€™s concept separates live-bus stabilization from blackout survival. SVG improves power quality while generators are online. BESS + PCS supports selected critical loads when blackout occurs, using controlled isolation and mode switching to avoid conflict with the vesselโ€™s original emergency generator sequence.

โœ“Normal condition: PCS may operate in P/Q follow mode as a virtual generator to support short peak loads.
โœ“Blackout condition: PCS changes to V/F support mode only after safe isolation and load control.
โœ“The original emergency generator philosophy remains unchanged.
โœ“Selected critical loads can be supported according to battery capacity and PCS rating.
